The acquisition gave ManyPets its own balance sheet in up to 45 US states, replacing a prior fronting arrangement with Accredited Surety and Casualty Company. The carrier was sold to an undisclosed third party in November 2024 for £22M as ManyPets exited the US market; existing US customers were transitioned to Odie Pet Insurance effective January 1, 2025.
